"To Whom It May Concern,
GeoForce Energy Solutions Inc. (GES) of Langley, B.C. has provided the geothermal based heating and hot water system installed during the renovation of my 1940's Ladner farmhouse. They have handled all the HVAC mechanical requirements of this project in a very satisfactory manner and I have no reservations in recommending their work to any interested parties.
Their advice during the planning phase and the careful design of the delivery system has resulted in a home of uniform and easily controlled warmth. Heating/cooling outlets have been unobtrusively placed upon the many period features retained during the renovation. The comfort level attained throughout the house is outstanding.
The installation of the geo-field and control system was also exemplary. I feel certain that the best placement of the field was achieved with minimal impact on the area used considering the 2,000 feet of piping required. The heat pump and associated equipment, particularly the extensive control wiring, have been very cleanly organized, so much so that the room containing them is always proudly displayed to visitors.
Their follow up work subsequent to the actual installation has ensured a correctly balanced and tuned system and given me the confidence that I am reaping the full rewards of the investment made in mitigating my environmental impact. I am extremely satisfied with the expertise and commitment to excellence displayed by GES throughout the many phases of this extensive project.
In passing I would point out that this project was submitted to the (now defunct) EnerGuide program. The initial Energy Efficiency Rating of 32 was increased to a final rating of 83, resulting in the maximum possible rebate payment. In terms of the so called One Tonne Challenge, this project has resulted ina home whose GHG production has decreased by 15.2 tonnes per year. I attribute a significant portion of these outstanding results to the excellent work done by GES. "
